Iowa at Northwestern

Looks like Northwestern is in a whole lot of trouble. They got beat by Michigan last week, and they play Iowa and Ohio State the next two weeks. Can you say 6-5? I am starting to be a firm believer in Iowa being better than decent. Even though Northwestern "only" gave up 34 points last week, you need to look at the opponent: Michigan. They suck. Iowa has been playing well. They lost to Michigan, however, they should have won the game. Drew Tate will eat Northwestern's measly secondary alive. Solomon will have about 5 TDS.

Tough game to pick here. Whoever wins this game sets themselves up to make a decent bowl, which is pretty sad because neither of these teams is that good. Iowa is coming off a bye week, giving Herkey a chance to lick his wounds of being the pussy that he is. The Wildcats are coming off a very disappointing loss to the assholes, one where they showed why they're primary color is purple. I would think Drew Tate's crazy ass would have no problem doing whatever they wanted against the mildcat defense, but the mildcat defense actually showed signs of life last week against Michigan. That's not saying much considering they still gave up 34 points. I don't know who to go with really, I think I gotta flip a coin on this one. Heads Northwestern, tails Iowa. (Flips) Iowa takes this one on the road, as their defense starts to wake up a little.
