Iowa is off.

(25)Michigan at (21)Northwestern

Despite the ranking and my prediction, I think this is the game of the week in the Big Ten. It is such an intriguing game. Evanston is going to be rockin' on Saturday night. A night game and Miiiiichigan is coming to town. It will be the Big Ten and college football at it's finest. Atmosphere will be great, and they will still be celebrating the White Sox triumph in the Fall Classic. Come Saturday night they will be partying somemore because Michigan is going to get their ass beat. I really don't see Michigan winning this game, and I think it could develope into a blowout. Whenever Northwestern is good, they beat Michigan. It is as simple as that. Michigan's defense is atrocious and it will get abused all game long by Brett Basanez and Tyrell Sutton.

Purple - 45
Maize and Blue - 31

Brett says:

Biggest game of the week as Northwestern comes in on a 3 game winning streak and the weasels come in with their first "winning streak" of the year. This game brings about shades of 2000, two pretty good teams, two good offenses, two shtty defenses, late in the day starting time. Only Michigan State and Eastern Michigan didn't have guys that rushed for over 100 yards in a game against Michigan this season, shouldn't boast well for the assholes with Tyrell Sutton. I would think Northwestern could push this to a blowout because of a night game at home, but you have to remember this is Northwestern. Granted, the Bucks didn't get the win at night at Northwestern, but you can bet your ass it wasn't because of the 15,000 people at the game. Ryan Field should be filled come Saturday night but because it's about as big as RV's old Augenstein Field, that won't make the difference. I do look for purple pussies to come away with the victory here, getting closer to thinking they can actually come in and surprise the Bucks in the Shoe. Won't be happening.

Surprise team but we don't escape the Bucks like we usually do - 37
Other receiving votes - 33

Corey says:

Michigan probably didn't think they would be this worried traveling to Wvanston at the beginning of the season, but this is a Wildcat team that is red hot and has a great chance to beat the Wolverines. If Hart is effective for Michigan, I think they will win this game, as I still think that when he is healthy they are one of the best teams in the conference. Either way, this will be a close game. I look for Michigan to come out on top though.

Michigan - 30
NW - 24

Purdue at (11)Penn State

Kyle says:

Hmm. This is an interesting game. If it was at Purdue, I think I would go with the upset. However, the game is in State College. Penn State owns the Boilers, too. It should be a great game, though. Purdue should have won last week at Wisconsin. Surprise, surprise...they choked. I love how they haven't won a conference game, but in the pre season people said they'd go undefeated. That is why people like myself, Brett and Corey should be giving these predictions.

Peachy Paterno - 24
O'Fer the Big Ten - 23

Brett says:

Well PSU gets another bottomfeeder this week with the Boilers in town. Michael Robinson must be feeling like Joe Montana after last week's performance. Don't worry you're not. Purdue was actually hanging with Wisconsin for over a half last week then realized how bad they actually are this year. This one would push them to 6 losses, already can't go to a bowl in October. Ouch. Joe Pa's boys go to 8-1, hopefully they don't interview him at halftime so he doesn't get his halftime mush he eats in the
interviewer's face.

Cleaned out Memorial Stadium in one half - 31
Fearing the Old Oaken Bucket Game - 20

Corey says:

Joe Tiller's nightmare season is going to continue in Happy Valley. They suck and Penn State is looking real good. I really don't see this game being close.

PSU - 41
Purdue - 21

(15)Wisconsin at Illinois

Illinois got put on probation earlier today. Could things get any worse in Champaign? I mean, seriously. I watched them play last week and they are absolutely horrid. I cannot wait 'till they come to Ohio Stadium next weekend. It should be a real laugher. Somehow this fucking game is on TV. No one should be subjectd to cruel and unusual punishment like that. I would rather watch Mark Mangino and Charlie Weis make a gay porn together. This is definitely the BITCH SLAP OF THE WEEK!

Badgers - 1,345,234,345,567
God. Awful. - (-32)

Brett says:

Why are they putting this one on TV? Honestly. Was that embarassment of having 30 people in the stands at the end of the Penn State game last week not enough torture for the Illini. Wow, this might be one of the worst Big Ten teams in a long time. I don't know if Zook knew what he was getting himself into. I don't know, this is going to be one boring ass game, I'd rather watch the Wisconsin-Illinois ping pong match.

Madtown - 40
Division III football - 14

Corey says:

Wisconsin - 50
Illinois - 10

(12)Ohio State at Minnesota

I'll make some predictions right now on this game: 1. Troy Smith will have more rushing yards than Laurence Maroney. 2. Minnesota is average 299 rushing yards a game. They will have no more than 120 this week. 3. Glen Mason will make some dumbass decisions during the game.

That being said, I really think Minnesota is in trouble. They are very one dimentional and they will not be able to run against us. Cupito better be able to pass or it could get really ugly in the MetroDome. The way I see it, every time the opponent hands the ball off against Ohio State. It is a good play because there is no way in hell the end result will be good for the opponent.

The Buckeyes of Ohio State - 31
Glen Mason is a douchebag - 21

Brett says:

Well Minnesota had a bye week to let that pathetic display of 4th quarter football sink in. I don't think that's going to help too much when they have to go up against a Buckeye defense that devoured a "good" Indiana offense last week. Even with Cupito back, Minnesota hasn't really been able to throw the ball this year, they've depended on Maroney and Russell all year. Even if they could thow the ball it wouldn't matter. I've been kind of worried about this game this week but I just keep reminding myself that it's a good time to play Minnesota. First off, I just have to see Glen Mason on that sideline. Second, we're almost in November so the Minnesota choke is obviously in full swing. Alright I'm feeling better, Buckeyes in this one.

Silver Bullets - 27
Can we schedule North Dakota next week? - 17

Corey says:

Minnesota's a pretty good team with their great running attack. Too bad that plays right into the Buckeye's advantage. The best run D in the nation should be able to contain one of the best rushing attacks. They might not completely shut them down like everyone else, but Minnesota won't put up enough yards to beat the Buckeyes. I'm really lookin forward to how they match up though. Minnesota is going to have to find something through the air to win this game, and I don't see them finding enough.

OSU - 27
Minnesota - 20

Indiana at Michigan State

Kyle says:

Same old Michigan State. Win the first 5 or 6 games and then fall the fuck apart. They got absolutely bitch slapped last week. Now they play the mighty Hoosiers of Indiana. This is a must win for IU if they plan on making a bowl game. Ain't gonna happen. IU is fucking pathetic. They were atrocious last week against the Buckeyes. They just cannot compete with the big boys in the conference. MSU big.

On the Banks of the Red Cedar - 37
I Who? - 14

Brett says:

Each year I think the Big Ten is different I just have to look at these two teams that are always there to keep things the same. Michigan State showed they're the same inconsistent team they are every year, and Indiana showed they are the same pathetic team they are every year. I don't see how anyone could have though Indiana was actually decent, seeing that game in person just brought out the shittiness they spew. Everything surrounding their program is a joke, they had a PA guy bitching about some technician not being there.... while the band was playing the IU alma mater, their program is not even worthy of toilet paper for me, and don't even get me started on the people working concessions. When I saw some 16 year old slut with a hat that says PRINCESS in pink behind the counter, I knew I was in deep trouble. Even with how pathetic MSU looked last week I can't see them losing to IU. Knowing MSU's defense though they'll probably still give up about 30 points to these losers.

Odds of John L. Smith becoming a serial killer: 2:1 - 44
Send us to the Missouri Valley Conference - 31

Corey says:

Indiana's offense looked like a bunch of fuckin kindergardeners last week. They will move the ball a little better and put up a few more points against Michigan State this week though. Michigan State needs to play well this week, as their season looks like it is slipping away after the last 2 games. I look for them to bounce back and take it to Indiana, however.

(12)Penn State at Illinois

Kyle says:

Illinois sucks and Penn State is overrated. This will not be a good game, though. Penn State in a rout.

We Are...Overrated - 28
I love Dee Brown - 9

Brett says:

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/teamphotos?photoId=897446&teamId=213

I'm sure Joe Pa started crying when he saw all these devices, fearing that they were tools of the devil. I mean Joe Pa had heard about the transistor radio but what the hell is all this stuff???? Anyways, talk about a heartbreaker last week. 1 second ways from going to 7-0 and really 9-0 with Illinois and Purdue coming up. Well, that's what you get for letting a loser like Chad Henne beat you. Now the Lions have made the Big Ten picture look about as clear as Joe Pa's sight without his Daryl Gates glasses. As for the game, Illinois obviously sucks, but Penn State has been shaky at best on the road, probably should be 0-2. Penn State should win but with it being on the road and at night, it won't be a bitch slap game.

Nurse I need a new bedpan - 24
Still a disgrace to Brett - 17

Corey says:

PSU - 50
Illinois - 10

Purdue at (19)Wisconsin

Kyle says:

Well, you gotta love the way Glen Mason totally fucked up the end of the Wisconsin game last week. I know I sure did. I also was not the least bit surprised. The whole world knew the Minnesota collapse was coming. It is October after all. Purdue is a fucking joke. I'd say they are the laughing stock of the country. People talked about this team going undefeated. I know, it really is unfathomable to think about. They might not even win a game in the conference. They have absolutely no defense, yet the whole unit returned from last season. Makes no sense to me. Maybe because Joe Tiller ate too many donuts over the off season instead of puting some defensive schemes together? Because of the shitty defense and Brian Calhoun, this game is the BITCH SLAP OF THE WEEK!

Limberger - 37
Can't wait 'till basketball, oh wait, we suck at that too - 14

Brett says:

Well Pursuck has hit rock bottom and it's only about to get worse with games against Wisconsin, Penn State, and Michigan State the next 3 weeks. I haven't seen a team disappoint like this since Arizona got bitch slapped a few years ago when they were supposed to win it all. As a matter of fact this is the B-B-B-B-B-ITCH SLAP OF THE WEEK. Wisky gets one handed to them by the Gophers last week, which I blame myself for actually thinking a Glen Mason team was going to win that game. I should have seen that coming from a mile away. IT HAPPENS EVERY YEAR. So the Badgers get to strut around with the big fuckin axe for a year, think how much of a hardass you would look like if you strolled into a party with that thing. Well thanks to the ineptness of the Domers the Badgers are right back in the Big Ten race. Thanks assholes. They will continue to be this week as they beat around Purdue like the rest of the conference does.

Is that a big axe in your pocket or are you just happy to see me - 37
Please don't hurt us anymore - 17

Corey says:

The losers bracket game in the Wildcat Invitational. Wasn't Purdue supposed to contend for the big ten title? Well they haven't won in a month, and that includes spankings in the hands of Iowa and Notre Dame. Wisconsin got a wild win last week and kept themselves right in the picture for the big ten. I look for them to win again, pretty easily against a team that has been looking pretty pitiful, particularly defensively.

Wisconsin - 41
Purdue - 20

Michigan at Iowa

Kyle says:

Even though these teams are both trash, Iowa City will be rockin' on Saturday. What a great college town, too, by the way. Both of these teams were supposed to awesome this year. Michigan was third and Iowa ninth in the pre-season polls. Now, neither team is ranked. All they have left to play for is pride. Michigan is coming off an unbelievable last weekend win against previously unbeaten Penn State. Iowa has owned the Maize and Blue as of late, though. Especially in Kinnick Stadium. I look for Tate and Solomon to hook up a lot during this game and beat Michigan. That will make then 4-4 and in danger of not making a bowl. You know damn well they arent winning on the third Saturday in November.

Pretty overrated - 27
Very overrated - 17

Brett says:

Would anyone have guessed that neither of these teams would be ranked going into this one? Can't say I'm not enjoying it. Iowa's managed to rattle off a few decent wins against the shit bags of the league after the shallacking in Columbus last month. As for Michigan I would think the last minute win would get their season back on track. Then again I thought that when they beat MSU. This every other game shit is just too big to go against. Problem is I do have to hope for it to end or it means they're beating the Bucks in a month. I don't think it's going to end this week though, Tate's crazy ass manhandles the asshole defense.

Corn-fed and loving it - 31
.500 football - 23

Corey says:

Michigan got a huge win last weekend, knocking off then unbeaten Penn State. I look for them to carry the momentum into Iowa Stadium and win what should be a good ballgame. Iowa is starting to score a lot more points, and you know Michigan is capable of scoring, so I think there will probably be a lot of points scored.

Michigan - 45
Iowa - 38

(14)Ohio State at Indiana

Kyle says:

Bloomington will be a happy town come Sunday morning. They say whenever Ohio State or Michigan play at IU over $1M is put into the local economy. How unbelievable is that? It may not be as much of a home game for Ohio State this year as it has been in the past. The game has been sold out for weeks now. I am sure there will still be 20,000 Ohio State fans in attendance, though. IU is 4-2, but dont let that fool you. It is
still IU and, yes, they still suck ass. Ohio State, even under Tressel, has steam-rolled the Hoosiers lately. I look for that to continue Saturday. Blake Powers will be made into someone on the defense's bitch. Cant wait for that. Pittman owned IU last year and they suck at stopping the run again, so look for him to finally score a TD and rack up 150 yards.

Ohio State - 27
Hoosier Daddy - 10

Brett says:

We're looking liiiive on Ohio Stadium West in Bloomington this Saturday. Always fun to hear some O-H-I-O going around Memorial Stadium. As long as there's no fuckin wave going. Lord knows I despise that one. Anyways, a lot people are starting to fall into the trap that Indiana is actually decent. I'm not buying it. The thing is, this game won't be a blowout. I'm just not convinced about the Bucks on the road yet. I am convinced the defense will be killing mother fuckers, well because they kill mother fuckers. As for the offense, they still have some proving they have to do. Last week there were good signs from the Bucks but they still have to prove it on the road.
Indiana is always a good place to start.

Second Home - 24
No Bowl - 13

Corey says:

Ohio Stadium West should be very pleased with the outcome of this game... meaning the buckeyes will come away with a win. Indiana's defense will struggle to stop a buckeye offense that looked a lot better last week when they held onto the ball. Indiana's offense isn't bad, but Ohio State's D should be able to shut them down.

OSU - 35
IU - 10

Northwestern at (22)Michigan State

Kyle says:

Should be a high schoring affair. I'd say half a hundred will get the job done. The Spartans are coming off a classic Michigan State loss to the Buckeyes. They get up early and it looks like Michigan State is going to win. Then...BAM! There is a huge play in the game and Ohio State wins it. Next thing you know, John L. Smith has his panties in a bunch and goes absolutely ape shit on national TV. Congratulations, Coach Smith! Northwestern, just like every fucking year, is the surprise team in the Big 10. They beat Purdue last week. Not much of a feat there. Brett Basanez has to be about 30 years old. I think he is the QB who led the Purple to Pasadena in 95. I could be wrong, though. Look for Drew Stanton to pull a Cody Hodges and have about 700 yards passing. It is in East Lansing, so I dont see the Mildcats pulling this one out.

John L. Smith is a fucking psycho - 51
Purple is still the choice for faggots - 28

Brett says:

Well looking at this one on paper, there might be 387 points scored in this game. I have to give some credit to Michigan State, after the blocked kick and John L. Smith's little psychotic episode, I didn't think they'd come close to scoring a point the rest of the game. Granted the Buckeye defense put a collective boot up Stanton's ass in the second half, they did manage to have one decent scoring drive. Good for them. As for Northwestern, they come into East Lansing on a big high after taking at UW and Pursuck. Hell if they win this game there's a good chance they might be ranked. I think the Spartans are too good for that to happen. Expect the Spartys to win, if not, expect to see Smith slitting people's throats left and right on the sideline.

"RASAJLKASJDFL" - Coach Smith 43
Hey dumbass, you didn't give a score for Northwestern

Corey says:

Wow, can Northwestern pick up it's third straight big win this weekend? I think they are very capable of it, but I don't see them coming into East Lansing and winning. I think they can cause a lot more problems in the conference, though. Especially in the next 2 weekends, with Michigan and Iowa coming to town. There will more than likely be a ton of points put up this week, and I think Stanton will come back after getting roughed up last weekend and tear up the wildcat D.

A Message from Kyle

I had a busy week and didn't have time to offer my expert analysis. Sorry. I will be back next week. Illinois is off.

(8)Penn State at Michigan

Kyle says:

Michigan - 27
Penn State - 21

Brett says:

The Lions proved to everyone last week they are the real deal, but I think they're going to have to prove it again this week. If there's one thing that's been wrong with them over the years it's that Michigan has absolutely dominated them. I mean I think Joe Pa just calls Lloyd his daddy now. I really see this as a win-win game. If Michigan wins, then the Bucks are right back in the conference race if they take out MSU, if Penn State wins then the assholes are 3-4 going to Iowa next week, on the brink of not making a bowl. How sweeeet would that be? I don't think that scenario will happen though, I think Joe Pa continues to call Lloyd his daddy, even though Joe Pa's biological father was killed in the War of Northern Agression.

I don't think they're just trying to run out the clock right? - 24
We love the WhOoOoOoOa song - 20

Corey says:

This is a huge game. Michigan is in bad shape in the big ten right now, but could greatly improve their chances if they can top the front-running Nittany Lions. Not gonna lie, I don't know how Penn State looked last week, because I was pretty wasted. I do know they have a solid defense, and thats what it takes to beat Michigan. These young guys on offense will leave Ann Arbor with a victory, and knock Michigan out of the big ten race early in the season. In overtime.

Penn State - 30
Michigan - 27

Northwestern at Purdue

Kyle says:

Northwestern - 31
Purdue - 30

Brett says:

I don't know really what to think with this game. Normally I would never even fathom the Purple Pussies coming in and taking out the Boilers in West Lafayette, but Purdue has been playing like the IU game might actually be a good one this year. Meanwhile Northwestern laid the pipe against the Badgers last week but I think Northwestern State might have put up 800 yards on UW. Purdue has always been a very streaky team, I think they end this streak of unbelievably bad football this week. You have to remember this is the Mildcats and they themselves gave up 2349 yards last week. Most of all I don't want to hear any shit about how good Northwestern is. If there's one thing that pisses me off, it's that.

Pur doo doo - 30
Northwest Territory - 27

Corey says:

This is an interesting game. Purdue has gotten beat up in the last 2 weeks, and Northwestern has a lot of momentum after a big win in a shoot out against Wisconsin. However, Northwestern doesn't necessarily bring the same team every week, as has been shown the last few years. I think this will be a close game, but I think Purdue will prevail

Purdue - 30
Northwestern - 24

Indiana at Iowa

Kyle says:

BITCH SLAP OF THE WEEK!

Iowa - 45
Indiana - 13

Brett says:

Well IU got what they wanted last week, an ass whooping over the Illini. It actually looked like there was a decent crowd in Bloomington. I don't believe it myself, I think they just took a bunch of cut outs of John Mellencamp and placed them around the stadium. Before last week's game the shitty announcers were talking about IU being bowl eligible this year. Not happening don't worry. If it does, they might not even get invited to a bowl since they would probably bring 38 people to the game. As for Iowa, they've started to get on track lately with wins over Illinois and Purdue, who have been playing as the two worst teams in the Big Ten lately. They get another cupcake this week with IU. Shouldn't be an interesting game, I'd probably watch the national dusting championship over this one.

I O DUBYA A - 40
This, and that guy is the greatest travesty - 17

Corey says:

I think Iowa is finally on track for the season, and I bleive will be a good team in the Big Ten. I also think that Indiana isn't bad at all. I look for this to be a decent game for a little while, but Iowa will end up on top.

Iowa - 34
Indiana - 24

(16)Michigan State at (15)Ohio State

Kyle says:

Ohio State - 28
Michigan State - 24

Brett says:

I really think the Bucks are the best 2 loss team since the '02 USC team. You would never think that by listening to many of the OSU fans though. If you read most of the message boards you would think that they just lost by 50, to Indiana, at home, with Steve Bellisari at the helm. Apparantly armageddon is coming. Give me a break, the Bucks are fine, they just ran into 2 teams that are 12-0 combined right now. National title hopes are out the window but the conference is still a possibility. First step is a win over the Spartys. MSU is coming off a loss to the assholes and a bye week to
let it sink in how overrated they were. Drew Stanton hasn't really faced a top notch defense yet, that changes a little bit this week when Mr. Hawk and company say hello on Saturday. The MSU defense is comprable to Wisconsin's, look for Troy to have a big game this week after he apparantly went 1-36 with 7 ints last week.

D-D-D Defense - 27
This isn't 1998 - 13

Corey says:

Flashbacks of a year ago... the Bucks are in jeopardy of starting out 3-3 once again, if they dont start figuring out ways to utilize their weapons better. Michigan State has a pretty solid passing game, but Ohio State's D should be able to respond to that. I think that if OSU's offense breaks out, they win by a couple of TD's, but if not this will be a low scoring game.

Ohio State - 17
Michigan State - 14

(23)Wisconsin at (22)Minnesota

Kyle says:

Wisconsin - 34
Minnesota - 27

Brett says:

Well this is setting up to be a pretty big game actually, probably the turning points for both teams. The winner goes to 6-1 and probably goes to a decent bowl, the loser to 5-2 and going to end up around .500 in the Big Ten. If Minnesota wins of course by decent bowl I mean a bowl before January 1. I don't think the Gophers know they actually play football in January. I do think Minnesota is going to pull this one off though. Did you see Wisconsin's defense last week? Damn it's hard to take them seriously after letting Tyrell Sutton have 3487 yards on you. I would think Minnesota would do the same this week but who really knows when Glen Mason is at the helm. If you asked me who would give up a 60 yard run when they're just trying to get to overtime I would immediately think Minnesota. Well turns out Lloyd has some Mason tendencies himself. Always good. Anyways, the Gophers get the big fuckin axe this year. I always love to see these jackass teams run after a trophy or something right after they win a game. I will definitely be laughing my ass off when one of the players trips and tears his ACL when they do this. Hopefully it happens this week.

Dome City - 37
River Valley 7th grade offense could score on us - 27

Corey says:

Well, Wisconsin fell victim to the purple-people eaters last weekend and I don't really think they will be able to stop Maroney. The Badgers couldn't stop Suggs last week, I don't know why they will be able to stop Minnesota's run game. There should be a lot of points put up in this game, though.

(6)Ohio State at (16)Penn State

Kyle says:

At the beginning of the season, I told everyone that this game scared me more than any other game on the schedule. You are going up against a good team on the road. (at night) Beaver Stadium is a hostile environment and it will be rockin' come Saturday night. I just can't imagine a bunch of freshmen beating the OSU defense, though. Joe Pa will probably talk about some of his best friends to inspire the Nitts this week. (General Custer, Ulysses S. Grant, Gen. Sherman, etc.) I think the game will go down to the wire. This will be the game that Teddy breaks out, too. One thing that would be nice would be to jump out and take an early lead. Try and take the crowd out of the game. As stupid as this may sound, I am glad that the band is going. It really does make a difference with the teams and the fans. If Troy and the O doesn't turn the ball over, the Bucks will be A-OK.

Ohio State - 17
Pin State - 14

Brett says:

And the matchup we've been waiting for, the biggest game of the young Big Ten season so far. The Bucks come into Happy Valley off a bye week, while the Lions started to the Gopher shuffle to the middle of the Big Ten. Wow Joe Pa's got an extra hop in a step right now, or it could be the side effects of all the medication he takes. This guy's more cracked out than Ozzy. Just listen to the guy all it sounds like is 123 year old mumbo jumbo. As for the game itself, I really just can't see the Bucks losing here. Obviously the Lions will be ready for this game but you have to remember that they're relying on a bunch of freshman. Once the Buckeye defense is hunkering down on them you might see actual shit leaking down their pants. They haven't really even played anyone yet, their hardest game was last week and you all know my opinion on Minnesota. So the Bucks come out on top in this one and continue to be right in the thick of things for Pasadena.

Killer Nuts - 26
Freshman Faggots - 17

Corey says:

It's hard telling how teams will respond after a bye week, but I think it came at a bad time for the Buckeyes, as they seemed to be getting their offense going in their last game. I don't think the layoff will have too much of an effect though. I look for this game to be close for a while, but I really think that Ohio State is that good that they will put it away before the 4th quarter.

OSU - 31

Someone snuck into Kinnick Stadium and burnt "Iowa Sucks" into the field. How fucking hilarious is that?

Iowa at Purdue

Kyle says:

This looked like a helluva game 3 months ago. Then Purdue and Iowa realized that they were, well, Purdue and Iowa. Drew Tate is shit. Purdue is shit. They got a fucking mudhole stomped in their ass last week by Notre Dame. Supposedly, Purdue has a good defense. I haven’t noticed that one yet this year. I really think Purdue is pretty bad. That is why I am picking the Hawks.

Iowa Sucks - 23
Purdon’t - 14

Brett says:

One word describes these two teams: Overrated. Wow what an embarassment for the Boilers last week against the Irish. Damn how do you maintain your integrity after a home loss like that? So much for the OMG OMG PURDUE DOESN'T PLAY OHIO STATE OR MICHIGAN, NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HERE WE COME OMG OMG. Well guess what, that's not going to matter when you still suck. Iowa got back on track with a win over the Illini last week. Always helps to get back on track against them. I think they continue to get back this week as Purdue continues their slide to maybe not making a bowl.

Herkey's still a pussy ( you didn't think I'd let him slide would ya?) - 24
47 year old qb's just don't cut it - 17

Corey says:

I think this is gonna be a real good game. Two teams that have gotten off to far from satisfying starts. I think both these teams have the ability to be pretty good, though. Who knows how Iowa progressed last weekend since they were playing Illinois, but Purdue did not look good at all against ND, so I'm gonna go with Iowa.

Iowa - 24
Purdue - 21

Damn. Another very painful pick for me. This is a really shitty week. Michigan has been the choking point in recent years. Every year they find some amazing way to totally fuck up. Whether it be blowing a 28 point fourth quarter lead, or just choking in a close game. It really doesn’t matter because Glen Mason is sure to find a way to falter. Amazingly enough, I think that will come to an end this week in Ann Arbor. Minnesota is due to finally break through this barrier and beat the Maize and Blue. Chad Henne is a piece of shit. I can’t wait to see him fuck up. Laurence Maroney will act as a buzzsaw on Michigan’s shitass defense.

We will still shit down our legs - 28

Brett says:

The changing of the seasons, the sun coming up everyday, death, taxes, and Minnesota choking in the Big Ten. Those are the constants of this world my friends. The assholes finally got on track last week as the Spartys realized a good offense will only get you so far, you have to have the guys ripping guys heads off on defense as well. I think TSUN has owned the Gophers over the years more than Ike Turner owned Tina. Nothing will change this week, as the Domers continue their slide into mediocrity. Just sit back and enjoy it, it only comes once a year and happens so fast you don't even realize it until you open the paper and realized they're 6-4. O yeah since all the games are going to be pretty close this week I think, this can be the B-B-B-B-ITCH SLAP OF THE WEEK. Good times.

Corey says:

Minnesota's true colors blead last weekend when they were drilled by a middle of the pack (in my opinion) team in the Big Ten. I expect the downfall to continue this week against Michigan, who's coming off a big win at Michigan State. The Gophers aren't gonna find too much success in the Big House.

Illinois at Indiana

Kyle says:

Hahaha. I have been waiting for this baby all year long. This game better be on ESPN Gameplan because I need some good comedy on Saturday morning. I would also love to see what shitass announcers have to announce it, too. These two teams are easily the worst in the conference. I am sure that Memorial Stadium will be hoppin’. I’d say the over/under on attendance is 15,000. Somehow, IU looked half decent last week in Madison. Their QB, Blake Powers, actually isn’t that bad. It really pains me, but I am going to pick the Hoosiers to win Saturday. There is not shit to write about this game, so here is an interesting fact. Indiana and Illinois are both IU, they both play call Memorial Stadium home for football games and Assembly Hall home for basketball contests. Amazing, I know.

I’m not here to fuck around this week. Now, you may be, but I’m not - 23

Brett says:

OOOOO WOW. I don't know what to say really. There's no doubt this has become a heated rivalry the last few years, neither team wants to be known as the cum dumpster of the Big Ten. Although we know without a doubt that's Indiana every year no matter what. I think whoever loses this game shouldn't have to play the rest of the season. You already got beat by the second worst team in the Big Ten, why subject yourself to the pain and torture of the rest of the season? They should also get a trophy of a football player getting kicked in the ass, these teams know plenty about that. The sad thing is I really think Indiana is going to win this game. I don't know how the hell I'm talking myself into this, just enjoy it IU, you get to hand over the the cum dumpster award for on year.

YEAH! 4-7! - 1

Corey says:

WHOOOOOA NELLY, what a matchup. The loser of this one should secure last place in the conference. I am a man of my word and I must go with...

(14)Wisconsin at Northwestern

Kyle says:

Nice to start out the week with the BITCH SLAP OF THE WEEK! Wisconsin is undefeated, once again, deep into the season. I know, it really is amazing. The pesky Badgers are doing it for their coach. How sweet? :) Anyway, Northwestern has won some games and played Penn State close, but this is still Northwestern. They aren’t going to surprise anyone this year because they fucking suck. Brian Fucking Calhoun will have a bunch of yards. All Whiskey has to be is contain Basanez. Wisconsin will end up losing about 3 games this year, I imagine. They’ll wake up on some Saturday and realize, “Shit, we are Wisconsin. Let’s lose about 3 games and shit down our leg.”

Brett says:

I didn't realize until I looked at their schedule today that Wisconsin actually has a good chance to go undefeated this year. With Minnesota and Purdue both dropping shitbombs last week, it's looking like Wisconsin's toughest game from here on out is at Penn State next month. The thing with Wisconsin is that the Spaniard has never really been able to lead them to actually being in the national title hunt. Sure they've been to the Rose Bowl three times during his tenure but they were all during weak years in the Big Ten and they were never really considered to be national title
threats. I would almost like to pick against them this week, they always lose some shit game every year, like last year when they got beat by 300 at Michigan State then played the rest of the season like a NAIA team. The thing is, they're playing Northwestern. Always have to have a smile on your face when you see the purple pussies on the schedule. The falsified dreams of the Badgers go on for another week.

Corey says:

Wisconsin has gotten off to a great start this year, and I think they are goin to improve to 6-0 with an easy win over the Wildcats. I really think Wisconsin might be pretty dangerous in the Big Ten, especially if they keep building up more and more confidence each week.
