Another great game. This one won’t be quite as good as that thriller in Bloomington, though. Ron Zook’s debut was a helluva showing last week. A thrilling come from behind victory over highly touted Rutgers. Yes, the State University of New Jersey. The Fighting Illini were down 27-10 and came back. Amazing, I know. Honestly, I don’t have a clue about either of these teams. I just know they both suck and researching them is not worth my time. I’d rather spend it looking up a history of John Holmes pornographic films.

Illinois might have been banished from the conference last week if they would have lost by 20 to Rutgers at home. I can sort of understand MSU losing to Rutgers in New Jersey but at home? You might as well join the Sun Belt. Can't go against the home state, Illinois almost matches their win total from last year with this win.
