Hawaii at Michigan State

The Islanders got shalacked by USC last week. It isn’t going to be much better this week. I don’t think Hawaii has ever won a game on the main land, seriously. Flying about 12 hours is not going to help there cause. Michigan State looked impressive against Kent State last week. I think they might be in for a half decent season. They are, however, the most schizo team year in and year out in college football. Look for that to continue this season. They may be undefeated in the Big Ten coming to Columbus.

Finally Hawaii played a good team at home and showed their true WAC colors. Without Timmy "1,267 intereceptions" Chang at QB, the Warriors have about as much punch as Mrs. May in a fight. Michigan State will be pretty stellar this year, as long as they don't allow their QB to turn into Tyrone Biggums.

Hawaii looked preeeettty bad last week, so its hard to say they will compete with a pretty decent Spartan team. Part of me wants to say this will be a game, but I don't think it will be. I'm sure Hawaii's 34 fans will be pushing them on all game, but it won't be enough.
